Armed Robbery

At approximately 9:30 p.m., 08/20/10, officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to a reported armed robbery near Baker Place East in the 1300 block of Key Parkway.

Investigation revealed that the victim was walking on a foot path behind Baker Place East when she was approached by a black male armed with a handgun. The suspect then robbed the victim of an undisclosed amount of cash and then left the area on foot.

The suspect is described a s a black male, approximately 6’00” tall with a stocky build. He was wearing a white T-shirt , dark pants and white athletic shoes.

Armed Robbery

On 08-09-10 at approximately 2232 hrs. officers of the Frederick Police Patrol Division responded to a reported armed robbery at Waverly Beer and Wine, 45 Waverly Drive in Frederick. The initial investigation revealed that two B/M suspects robbed the store at gunpoint. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was taken from the business and the suspects fled on foot. It is believed the suspects had a vehicle waiting a short distance from the scene that facilitated their getaway. Multiple units canvassed the area immediately after the incident but were unable to locate the perpetrators. No one was injured during the incident and the investigation is being conducted by FPD/CID. Armed Robbery

INCIDENT/ INFORMATION: On Saturday May 22, 2010 at approximately 2105 hours Officer Bednar of the Frederick Police Department responded to the 1300 block of Baker Place for the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival officers met with the victim who advised that approximately an hour before he was approached by 3 black males near the intersection of Key Parkway and Willowdale Drive. The three black males followed the victim to his apartment building where one of the males displayed a silver handgun. The male with the handgun demanded money and the other two subjects went through his front pockets. The subjects removed some money from the victim and fled on foot in an unknown direction. The suspects were described as follows:

-Suspect #1) tall thin black male around 30 years of age. Wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. Had a goatee and short “faded” hair. Also had a diamond stud earring. This suspect displayed the handgun.

-Suspect #2) medium build black male around 20 years of age. Wearing a blue Peyton Manning jersey (blue with white numbers) and blue jeans. Had short “faded” hair.

-Suspect #3) Short stocky black male in his late teens. Wearing a grey shirt and blue jeans. Had short “faded” hair.

A check of the area did not locate the suspects and no other witnesses could be found. Armed Robbery

On 05/20/10, at approximately 2148 hours, officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to an armed robbery that occurred in front of the Giant Eagle supermarket, 1275 W. Patrick Street, Frederick MD.

Upon their arrival, the male victim advised that he pulled into the parking lot of the Giant Eagle and was about to exit his vehicle when an unknown black male approached the driver’s side of his vehicle. The victim said the suspect then pointed a handgun at his head and demanded his wallet. The victim complied with the suspect’s demands and surrendered his wallet. The suspect took the wallet from the victim and walked away towards the rear of Giant Eagle. A search of the area for the suspect was conducted by officers but it met with negative results.

The suspect was described as a black male in his mid to late 20’s, short stocky build, and was wearing a bandanna on his head. He was wearing a white shirt with an unidentified logo on the back. Armed Robbery

On 04/25/10 at approximately 10:34pm Frederick Police received a call for an armed robbery that just occurred in the area of 1473 W. Key Pkwy., Frederick MD. Upon arrival officers found a victim who reported she was robbed at gunpoint by a suspect as she walked into her apartment building.

The suspect threatened the victim with a handgun, struggled with the victim briefly, then ran away with undisclosed property and currency. The victim sustained a minor injury during the incident.

The suspect was described as a B/M, dark skin, medium build approximately 5’10” to 6’ tall, wearing black pants, black jacket and black shoes. The victim advised the suspect wore a bandana covering his face.

The suspect ran from the scene toward Stonegate Dr. Numerous officers responded to the area, but the suspect was not located. Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to contact the Frederick Police Department immediately at 301-600-2102.

Armed Robbery

On 4-17-10, at approximately 0139 hours, officer from the Frederick Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to Domino’s Pizza at 1 Worman’s Mill Ct. for an armed robbery. Officers found the business had been robbed at gun point. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the business. The suspect was described as follows:

· White

· Approx. 6’0”

· Thin build

· Charcoal grey hooded sweatshirt

· Black ski mask

· Jeans

· Silver handgun
