FREDERICK’S 4TH CHILI COOK-OFF COMPETITION

June 22, 2010, Frederick, MD- Come out and sample Frederick’s finest chili at this year’s 27th annual Independence Day celebration!

Presented by Weis Markets and WFMD radio, the chili cook-off will be located by the main stage area in Baker Park. Set up will begin at 8:30 am and sampling will start at 1pm. All visitors can taste the one-of-a-kind chili selections for only, $10.00. Judging by our elite panel of chili experts will take place at 3pm and awards will follow. Prizes will be given for best tasting chili, people’s favorite and best decorated table. Come check out the patriotic table decorations and taste savory and creative chili of Frederick’s best cooks. The variety at this year’s competition is sure to satisfy the chili cravings of all visitors. The competition has registered 15 cook-off competitors.
