Theft from CVS on W. 7th Street

On 03-27-09, officers were dispatched to the CVS, located at 1305 W. 7^th Street, for a theft in progress. It was reported that two suspects entered the store and stole numerous items. The suspects were confronted by employees from CVS and they fled from the scene on foot. One of the suspects, Clifton Prather, was located nearby and detained by officers. The employees positively identified Prather and he was placed under arrest. Officers continued to look for the second suspect but he was not located. The total amount of items stolen by Prather was over $1,200.
