Possible scam artists

On 04/16/09, the Frederick Police Department responded to the 300 block of Magnolia Avenue for a suspicious person complaint. Residents explained that unknown subjects have been knocking on doors and asking residents to submit to a “survey.” These subjects do not appear to be affiliated with any legitimate company. The subjects do not identify themselves by name, company, and were described as “well-dressed black males” approximately 40 years old. Residents are urged not to invite any unknown persons into their homes and to call police about any suspicious persons or vehicles.
