CiCi’s Pizza to open first West-central Maryland location in Frederick

Wallets with free buffet coupons dropped around town for residents to find and redeem


(FREDERICK, M.D.) July 12, 2010 - CiCi’s Pizza, home of the $4.99 endless pizza buffet, announces the opening of its first restaurant in Frederick on July 12. Residents in the area should be on the lookout for hundreds of wallets that CiCi’s will drop in the area with a coupon for a free buffet tucked inside.


The 4,000-square-foot restaurant will open at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 12 at 5010 Buckeystown Pike, Suite 136/140, with its endless buffet packed with 20 different pizzas, pasta, soup, salads and oven-baked desserts.The first 100 guests on opening day will receive one free pizza buffet a month for a year with the purchase of an adult buffet.


Texas-based CiCi’s, one of the nation’s fastest growing pizza chains, builds each pizza by hand with fresh dough made from scratch throughout the day, sauce prepared in small batches with a special blend of herbs and seasonings, crisp vegetables and whole-milk mozzarella cheese. If guests don’t see their favorite pizza fresh and hot on the buffet, they can just ask and the manager will make it on the spot and bring it directly to the table.

In addition to the hundreds of pizza combinations that can be created by traditional toppings, CiCi’s also serves a variety of specialty pizzas, including its new Italiano. The Italiano marries a thin gourmet crust with a flavorful spice blend, a unique mix of cheeses and seasoned sausage and pepperoni or crunchy vegetables. Guests will also find the famous Macaroni & Cheese, the Mexican Pizza Olé and Spinach Alfredo pizzas. Guests can also get CiCi’s value on the go – 15” one-topping carryout pizzas are available for just $5.99.

Hours of operation for dine-in and carryout are Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
