Residential Burglary


On 09/08/09 at 1042 hours Frederick Police Department officers responded to a residential burglary that had just occurred in the 1300 block of Peachtree Court. While en route the victim was able to give a detailed description of the suspect as she was leaving. Officer First Class Raymond Bednar located the vehicle as it was leaving the scene and detained the driver. An investigation revealed that the suspect entered the home of her ex-boyfriend without permission. The suspect had a knife with her and attempted to stab the ex-boyfriend. The victim was not injured by the knife but did sustain injuries as a result of the struggle. The suspect also stole personal items of the victim before leaving the house. The suspect was identified by both the victim and another resident of the house, who was home at the time of the burglary. The suspect was arrested by OFC. Bednar and transported to central booking, where she was awaiting a hearing with a commissioner. No further information is available at this time.
