Upon arriving on scene, officers discovered numerous windows on the leasing office had been shattered. Inspection of the building revealed various items were missing from the office.
Later that same day, one of the missing items was located inside an apartment at the complex. During initial investigation, officers were able to identify a suspect as Isiah Jamal Fredericks. Based on evidence gathered at the scene, Fredericks was placed under arrest and charged with 2nd degree burglary, 4th degree burglary, malicious destruction of property greater than $500, theft less than $100 and theft less than $500.
