Mount St. Mary's University Teams up to Support the Entrepreneur Environment in Frederick

Emmitsburg, MD - Mount St. Mary's University School of Business has partnered with Frederick Community College and the Frederick Innovative Technology Center this academic year to offer the community a Business Management Series.

The Business Management Series includes courses designed for business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals who want access to the core skills of successful entrepreneurs, taught by highly qualified MBA faculty.

All courses, instructed by faculty who teach in the Mount St. Mary’s and University of Maryland MBA programs, will cover the business concepts needed to start and to manage a successful business enterprise."The Frederick area is rich with entrepreneurs who have great ideas but may need some guidance turning those ideas into a successful enterprise," says the Mount's Carolyn Jacobson, director of graduate and adult business programs. "The courses cover everything from start-up, marketing, information technology to human resourses. This series is a tool for our local entrepreneurs to use and secure best business practices."

The courses are offered at the Frederick Community College campus and begin this Fall, 2009.
