Armed Robbery

On Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at approximately 1:30 pm, the Frederick Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at Hawthorne Square in the 100 block of Key Parkway. Two males, one of whom was brandishing a handgun, robbed the victim as he answered a knock at the door of his residence.

The two suspects obtained property from the victim and fled the area on foot in an unknown direction. An extensive search of the area was conducted, but the suspects were not located. The victim was not injured during the robbery.

The following is a description of the suspects:

Suspect #1 – Heavy set black male, mid 20’s, approximately 5’10” wearing dark clothing. Brandished handgun.

Suspect #2 – Thin black male with a full beard, mid to late 20’s, wearing dark baggy clothing and a black skull cap.
