The Frederick Police Department is looking for community, civic, and business organizations to participate in this year’s National Night Out Celebration to be held on Tuesday August 4th from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. National Night Out is when 34 million people in 10,000 communities join forces to promote community-police partnerships; crime, drug and violence prevention; safety, and neighborhood unity.
This year the Frederick Police Department along with our community partners will be organizing National Night Out in four areas of the city: Whittier Community, Mullinix Park, Lake Coventry Park, and in the Sagner Community.
There will be demonstrations and activities scheduled for the entire family at each location. We are encouraging the business and service community to come out and participate with us by providing information about their business or services.
