DATE: 07/04/2009 TIME: 1201 Hrs

On the above date and time officers of the Frederick Police Department were dispatched to the 500 Block of W. South St in reference to a weapons complaint. According to the complainant, she was being threatened by an individual with a gun. She provided the tag number of the vehicle, and description of the suspect.

As officers began canvassing the area they noticed a vehicle matching the description heading west on W Patrick St (Black 2003 Chevy Blazer). Once the driver noticed the police vehicles following he exited onto RT 15 South, and began to drive at a high rate of speed. Officers initiated a pursuit. With speeds over 100 miles per hour, and given the fairly dense traffic, the pursuit was cancelled by the Frederick Police. The State Police took over the pursuit as the vehicle traveled on RT 70 West.

The original complainant was unable to be located. This investigation is open pending additional investigation into the identity of the suspect. The suspect may go by the name of “Dante”.
