The Police Activities League of Frederick began in August of 1999, and is a recreation-oriented juvenile crime prevention program that relies heavily on recreational, educational and athletics activities to create and cement positive bonds between police officers and Frederick youth. During the school year the PAL program is offered in the evenings at the PAL Center in the Sagner Community and at Hillcrest Elementary School. PAL offers kids a safe nurturing place to learn and to interact with police officers all while having a good time.
To request a registration form or receive more information on this program please contact the Frederick Police Outreach Coordinator, Michele Bowman at (301) 600-2091 or mbowman@fredco-md.net or visit the Frederick Police Department website.
