Burglary at The Temple

On 11/14/2008 at 2246 hours officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to 22 W Church St. (The Temple) Frederick, MD 21701 in reference to commercial burglar alarm activation. Upon arrival OFC Scott McGregor contacted the business owner. The owner had arrived on scene several minutes prior to police arrival. He told the officers that when he arrived at the business, he observed a male suspect running out of the front door of the business. The suspect was carrying a large, 5 gallon water jug which contained loose change. The unidentified suspect was not located despite an extensive search. Due to the weight of the jug, it is possible the suspect abandoned it in the downtown area. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Frederick Police Department at 301-600-2100.
