Vandalisms

On 11/15/08 at approximately 10:11 am, OFC Matthew Ilko from the Frederick Police Department responded to the Church Street parking deck for a theft report. Investigation revealed that four vehicles had their windows broken out and items were stolen from inside.

The thefts are believed to have occurred from 11:30 pm and 7:00 am.

No suspects have been identified at this time and the investigation is continuing. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Frederick Police Department at 301-600-2100 or OFC Matthew Ilko at 301-600-1204. Citizens are also encouraged to remove all valuables from their vehicles when left unattended or remove the items from view to decrease the chance of being victimized.

ALSO:

On 11/15/08 at approximately 3:55 am, officers from the Frederick Police Department responded to Huntover Lane in Emerald Farm for a report of a vehicle that had been vandalized.

Upon arrival officers discovered four vehicles in Emerald Farm and Monarch Ridge had side mirrors damaged. Among the vehicles vandalized was a Frederick County Sheriff’s Office police cruiser. A canvass of the area revealed a number of mailboxes and two real estate signs had also been damaged.
