On 03/08/2009 at approximately 0321 hours, members of the Frederick Police Department responded to the 100 Block of N. Market St. for a report of disorderly subjects. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a victim who advised that she had been in involved in a verbal altercation with a male subject for several blocks as they walked south on N. Market St. As they reached the area of N. Market and W. Church, the male grabbed the female and threw her into the windows of the Tasting Room Restaurant. The victim was thrown hard enough to shatter the window and actually landed inside of the restaurant. The suspect then fled. The victim and several witnesses provided a description of the suspect who was soon located by responding officers and placed under arrest. The arrestee was transported to Frederick County Central Booking where he had a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.
