Fertilizer theft

During the night of 2/28 and 03/01, unknown suspects stole at least 8,000lbs of fertilizer from the Southern States store located in the 500 block of E. South St. A representative estimated that at last 6,000lbs of “191919” fertilizer and 2,000lbs of urea were removed from this location. The fertilizer was packaged in primarily white 50lb bags imprinted with a red and blue SS logo. A possible suspect is a W/M, 45-50 YOA, and balding. The investigation is continuing.
