Kirkpatrick Vigil

March 15, 2009 marks the 20-year anniversary of Tracey Lynn Kirkpatrick’s murder. Tracey was a 17-year-old senior at Brunswick High School when she was murdered in Frederick City. She was working the night of March 15, 1989, when she was found dead in her place of employment at the Westridge Shopping Center.

To mark the anniversary of her death, celebrate her life, and to raise awareness of this tragic event in hopes of developing additional information, the Kirkpatrick family will hold a vigil in the Westridge Shopping Center on March 15, 2009, between 9:00 pm and 9:30 pm. The family invites the public to share in this vigil, which will be held in the east parking lot.

The Frederick Police Department Criminal Investigation Division continues to actively investigate this case.
