Theft (Giant Eagle, 1305 W. 7th Street)

On 03-29-2009, OFC T. Duhan responded to the Giant Eagle, 1305 W. 7^th Street, for a theft in progress. The suspect, who was identified as Ryan Edward Green, attempted to flee when approached by loss prevention officers from Giant Eagle. Green was apprehended by the loss prevention officers, and after further investigation, was placed under arrest by Ofc. Duhan. While Ofc. Duhan was searching Green, he located a quantity of suspected heroin on his person. The total amount of items stolen by Green was over $700.00.
