U.S. ATTORNEY ROD J. ROSENSTEIN AND FREDERICK COUNTY STATE’S ATTORNEY J. CHARLES SMITH III, JOINED BY LOCAL, STATE AND FEDERAL OFFICIALS, TO HOLD PRESS CONFERENCE ANNOUNCING STRATEGY TO COMBAT GUN CRIME IN FREDERICK COUNTY

Frederick, Maryland - United States Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein and Frederick County State’s Attorney J. Charles Smith III will hold a press conference on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22, 2009, at 2:00 p.m., at the Frederick Municipal Annex Bldg - Public Meeting Room, 140 W. Patrick Street in Frederick, to announce Frederick EXILE, a unified and comprehensive strategy to combat gun crime that combines law enforcement efforts, community action, and public awareness.

All members of the press are welcome. Television, radio and other broadcast media are requested to arrive no later than 1:45 p.m.
