Residential Burglary Arrest

On 04/24/2009, at approximately 0003 hours, officers responded to Country Hills Apartments building “G” Apt 311 for a burglary that just occurred. The resident called 911 to report that 3 subjects had broken into her apartment and assaulted her and her brother. Upon the arrival of police a short time later, a subject matching the description of one of the suspects was located by Cpl Joseph Simmons by “F” building. The victim identified the subject as one of the perpetrators at which time he was placed under arrest. The suspect was identified as GODFRED AMOQUANDOLA 06/15/1967 of Frederick. The victim advised officers the other two suspects were her sister, SERINA RESHAWN SMITH 07/04/1978 and her sister’s boyfriend, DWAYNE CHRISTOPHER MCTAGGERT 07/11/1980, both of Frederick. Officers responded to building “F” apt 313 and located the SMITH and MCTAGGERT who were identified by both victims. Both were placed under arrest. It was learned through the investigation that all three suspects forced their way into the victim’s apartment to confront the victim and her brother. After entering the apartment the suspects assaulted the victims and then fled on foot. All three suspects were taken to Frederick County Adult Detention Center Central Booking for appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
