Arrested: Hubbard, Charles Richard

On this date members of the Drug Enforcement Unit were conducting surveillance in the area of Madison St. and Logan St. Officers observed a suspicious vehicle enter the area. After watching the vehicle for a few moments, officers believed the person inside were involved in drug activity. A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle. Officers contacted the driver and summoned for a K-9 to respond to the scene to conduct a sniff of the vehicle.

The K-9 alerted to the presence of drugs inside the vehicle. Officers placed the driver Hubbard under arrest. Hubbard was searched incident to arrest and officers located approximately 5 grams of marijuana on his person. Hubbard was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
