Armed Robbery

On 05/01/2009 at approximately 0348 hours, 2 subjects one of whom was armed with a handgun entered the 7-11 Store located at 501 N. East St. and robbed the clerk of an undisclosed amount of money. Both subjects were described as wearing black hooded sweatshirts and black ski masks. The suspects accosted a customer as they were leaving the store and took his car keys, but threw them away and fled the scene on foot. Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspects. A crime scene unit was called to process evidence found at the scene and video footage was also recovered.
