Robbery

On 05/02/09 at approximately 2030 hours, an armed robbery occurred on the pathway in the wooded area of Taskers Chance Park near the rear of Creekside Apartments. The victim was walking alone and was approached by seven suspects, four black males and three white males. One of the white males punched him in the head while the others brandished pocket style knives. Another suspect removed money from the victim’s pockets and then the entire group left the area. The victim called police when he returned home. A search of the area was negative. The victim was not seriously injured and did not require medical attention.
