Armed Robbery

On 5/16/09, at approximately 0423 hours, officers from the Frederick Police Department responded to the 7-11 on S. Jefferson St. for an armed robbery call. Upon arrival, officers found that the clerk had been robbed and shot. An undisclosed amount of money was stolen.

The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5’10”, medium build, with dreadlock-style hair. The suspect wore a bandanna over his face and displayed a handgun. The suspect also wore light colored pants and a bright orange shirt with a black t-shirt and a white t-shirt underneath the orange shirt.

The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to FMH. The Frederick Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division is investigating the incident. It appears that there were several people and vehicles in the area at the time of the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Tokarz at 301-600-1240.
