On today’s date the Frederick County Grand Jury indicted Ronnie Lynwood Winkler, 08/27/1974, of Baltimore, Maryland of one (1) count of first degree murder in the death of Shneara Boone. Boone’s body was found in the rear compartment area of an SUV parked in the 500 block of E. South Street on September 5, 2008. Information from the autopsy indicated she died of asphyxiation and had been deceased for approximately 4 to 5 days before being discovered.
The indictment is a result of several months of intense investigation by Detectives Jerry Morales and Kevin Forrest, along with great assistance and cooperation from the Baltimore City Police Department’s homicide division. Investigators developed Winkler as a suspect within several weeks of Boone’s death. Over the past nine (9) months, investigators utilized a wide variety of technological resources that linked Winkler to the crime.
Winkler is currently being held in Baltimore County awaiting trial on several rape charges and a separate murder charge.

Shneara Boone was like a sister to me. I pray that he gets what he desreves when he goes in front of the grand jury. Which is actually death. You took the life of someone and the same should be done to him.Shneara was a great person who never deserved any of this. Because of his selfish ways now I have to live with this forever and it hurts. R.I.P Shneara justice will be served and you can rest. S Eaddy will always love you.
